César Cielo, a swimming recordist
César was born with the name César Augusto Cielo Filho in “Santa Bárbara d'Oeste”, Brazil, on January 10th, 1987;
He obtained two Olympic medals and two World Campionships gold medals in one year;
In the same year of these four medals he broke two world records, 100 meter and 50 meter freestyle;
A lot of people say he is the most successful Brazilian swimmer in history.
Marcelinho
Marcelo was born with the name Marcelo Magalhães Machado in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, on April 12th, 1975;
He is a Pan American three-time-champion;
He was voted most valuable player of the FIBA Americas Championship 2005;
He is the captain of the Brazilian Basketball Team.
Guga
Guga was born with the name Gustavo Kuerten in Florianopolis, Brazil, on September 10th, 1975;
He was the best Brazilian tennis player for 9 years;
He made one of the fastest tennis serve of the world.
Ayrton Senna
Ayrton Senna da Silva was born in São Paulo, Brazil, on March 21th,1960;
He was the world champion for three times;
He was considered the best pilot in wet tracks;
He died in a race on May 1st, 1994.

Pelé, “the soccer king”
 
Pelé was born with the name Edson Arantes do Nascimento in “Três Corações”, Brazil, on October 23th, 1940;
When Pelé was ten, he began to work, cleaning people's shoes in the street;
He got 4 goals in his first match for Santos Football Club;
He is the only soccer player to win three World Cups;
In 1967 there was a war in Nigeria but the war stopped for 48 hours for everybody to watch Pelé playing soccer.
